The best meal I had in Nice! So glad my Airbnb host recommended this spot to me as it was her favourite and I definitely understand why. My sister ordered the duck confit and I ordered gnocchi with fish (not a fan of gnocchi but wanted to try something new)… so glad I made that choice! It was AMAZING. Every bite was such a treat! You have to try this restaurant and you will understand
My daughter and I had a lovely dinner there. The food was fantastic. The Chef also served as Server, prepared drinks and cooked. He did a good job! Don’t miss the Salmon appetizer and Creme brûlée. Addition: We managed to sneak in for dinner without reservations before he closed for a long weekend. The food was incredible as before. My daughter was fighting me for the Salmon.
First night in nice and my friends and I were looking for some good food. Walking by the restaurant, you may not even take a second glance but PLEASE STOP AND EAT HERE! The food was so well prepared and presented. Did I mention the chef is also the host/server also? Truly a small local business with high quality service. Laurent was very pleasant and amicable. The lamb was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the rabbit and it was so well seasoned! Reasonably priced, delicious food!!!
This restaurant is a little far from Vieux Nice, however it is easily access by public transportation. The food was great. Bigger portions than the restaurants in Vieux Port. Only one waiter was serving around nine tables but he was always on the spot. The menu was in French but he spoke decent English.
This restaurant is amazing. Every course we had was fantastic. One of the best end to end meals I've ever had. The next time we are in Nice we will be heading straight here. Thank you!
What a hidden gem! I wasn't expect too much for a small local restaurant. But the food is exceptional! So far the best food I've had in Nice! The tuna tataki fits perfectly with citrus vinaigrette. The duck leg and fillet are cooked just so right. They are tender and tasty. I also love the green beans. It reminds me of home. I'll definitely come again the next time I visit Nice.
Had a satisfying lunch here, ordered the meal with starter and main. The brandade is nicely prepared and flavourful, the salad blends in well to. The codfish was fresh and and the sauce enhanced its taste. This place operates on a reservation basis, will need to reserve online to secure a table.
INCREDIBLE!!! One of the best places I have eaten. The menu is always a joy. It is run by a small team (2/3 people), cooking and table service. We go every time we are Nice, since 2019, and always leave with a smile and feeling truly content.
